MELORMAN

Melorman is the electronic alias of Athenian artist Antonis Haniotakis. His sound, a mixture of digital, analog and acoustic elements, is instantly recognisable, mainly due to his warm, distinctive and with a tone of melancholy melodic lines, frequently changing within the context of a song. He creatively combines these with warped loops, voices and ambiences, seeking to enhance nostalgia and create an emotional imagery through music.

His extended discography spreads in a wide spectrum, from releases in music labels such as Sun Sea Sky, Inner Ear, IVDT and Symbolic Interaction to collaborations and remixes with/for well known electronic and ambient artists, including Ruxpin, Good Weather for an Airstrike, Mokhov and Northcape among others.

Melorman attempts to reach and capture the ultimate feeling and embodiment that melody has on the human emotional state.
